The senior SAP Basis administrator will lead the enterprise architecture, design, strategy, and engineering of the following within the SAP Infrastructure Environment:

• Years of hands on experience with SAP R/3, ECC 5.0/6.0 Basis administration
• SAP NetWeaver Infrastructure, Enterprise Portal (EP), XI
• WAS (SAP Web Application Server) Architecture
• BW Infrastructure Architecture
• SAP Portal Integration within SAP Infrastructure
• SAP Solution Manager architecture
• SAP Security Authorization Design and Standards
• SAP Workload Characterization and Capacity Planning related to NetWeaver components
  

Additional Responsibilities include:

• Promote the SAP infrastructure standards to align with the overall enterprise architecture goals.
• Working with other IT groups, develop and maintain an SAP Infrastructure Roadmap that provides reduced overall complexity and increased cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain the SAP infrastructure strategies that result in efficient and effective use of the SAP based infrastructure information technology products and services.
• Document the SAP Infrastructure Architecture environment and procedures..
• Assist in root cause analysis and provide on-call / off-hours support as required.
• 2 years of SAP NetWeaver experience with emphasis in enterprise infrastructure.
• Thorough knowledge in SAP infrastructure with emphasis on: SAP Basis, SAP Integration technologies, BW, Portal and Security.
• Must have experience with HP-UX Unix, Oracle, Windows 2000 and 2003 platforms.
• Ability to train and mentor juniors.
• Initiative and ability to manage multiple and simultaneous projects and applications.
