Responsibilities:
The successful employee in this role will drive the sales function for the Indian subcontinent and Asia Pacific region for myTec Soft. This includes responsibility for managing Product Sales Managers, and developing SAP projects for the company.
This person will seek to maximize relationships within the cable industry, SAP – India and other segments as added over time. He is expected to use technology such as conference calls, email, Web Ex presentations, etc. to minimize the amount of travel costs associated with the sales cycle.
He is expected to employ a constant improvement and self-education process – for example researching ERP systems, industry specific information and country specific issues. These findings need to be shared with superiors.
Tasks:
- Handle performance planning for direct reports. Coach and develop as necessary.
- Instigate and complete the full sales cycle for projects including:
- Prospect identification and research
- Cold-calling to establish contact information and initiate process
- Qualification contact
- Needs Analysis
- Proposal preparation and presentation
- Negotiation and Review
- Follow up and relationship building
- Ensure the company’s installed CRM is used to record both his activities and that on his direct reports.
Skills Needed:
- 3 – 5 years sales experience in outside direct customer contact in a business to business setting. Prefer software sales experience.
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Ability to use standard business software very well (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
- CRM use
- Ability to develop and retain client relationships putting the needs of the company first.
